John Addison Cammack, a nephew of the famous Wall Street operator, died yesterday after a short illness at his home, 61 East 177th Street. He was 61 years old and was born in New Orleans, being a descendant of the Cammack family of Louisa Court House, Va. Mr. Cammack was a railroad man all his life, being connected with the accounting department of a number of the larger railroads in the East. He started his railroad career at the age of 18 in the offices of a railroad in Dallas, Texas. He came to New York 18 years ago and entered the offices of the New York Central, rising to the position of chief accountant. He left that position 12 years ago to become chief accountant of the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad, retaining that position for several years. He is survived by six children. Marion, Russell T., Harold, Arthur C., Mrs. George F. Pierson and Miss Florence Cammack.
