OK, trying another search criteria.I have a John & Martha Campion 'appearing' in Bromley & Hayes (adjacent Parishes), Kent in 1815.Their children were: Elizabeth b. 13/02/1815c. 23/021815 at Hayes Kent Mercy c. 12/07/1818 at Bromley Susan c. 08/05/1821 at Bromley Ann c. 24/07/1824 at Bromley
John & Martha's marriage is not in either the Bromley or Hayes PR.
Martha died aged 77 at Bromley in 1874, so presume John was of similar age or a bit older, probably born 1790 - 95.Haven't located John's death record.
Here's the twist:Although the eldest daughter (Elizabeth)married in Bromley, there's no trace of the other 3 marrying there but, a search of FreeBD&M shows that women of all 3 names of her siblings, Mercy, Susan & Ann, married in Towcester, Northamptonshire:
Mercy Campion – Towcester Northamptonshire Sept 1837 – if her – age 21
Susan Campion - Towcester Northamptonshire Sept 1842 – if her – age 21
Ann Campion - Towcester Northamptonshire Dec 1857 – if her – age 33
Coincidences?Has anyone found a John Campion marrying a Martha around Towcester between about 1810 - 1815?
