And there is another - the arms of Candler of Callan Castle, County Kilkenny, Ireland. These are described:
Arms: Parted in tierce, per fesse indented; the chief per pale, argent and azure; the base or; a canton gules.
Crest: The figure of an angel proper, vested argent, holding in the index hand a sword, the blade wavy of the first, pommel and hilt or.
Motto: Ad mortem fidelis.
Now if this family is in your family history, and you want a frameable copy, I can be of help.I had these arms painted a few years ago by Myra Maguire, a lady recommended to me by the Chief Herald of Ireland as "one of the best heraldic painters in all of Ireland."I had them painted along with several others so that they could be reproduced in a book on my family history which I published in 1995.When I printed the book I had some extra copies printed so that people could have them for framing. They are beautiful color illustrations on 8-1/2 x 11 pages - perfect for framing.I sell them for $20.00 each, including packaging and shipping, which is about 1/2 ro 1/3 what is usually charged for such illustrations. They may be ordered directly from me at 2114 Sieber Drive, Houston, TX 77017.Thank you for your interest.
