I am so glad that you were finally able to find the book! And in the Scrapbook Company store with which I am affiliated too!I teach classes in the Scrapbook Company store here in Logan and occasionally do a class or two during the year in the Ogden store.
I am glad that you liked the format and ideas in the book.I had people constantly asking me in my classes about MORE ideas for Heritage Pages, so that is why I finally did a book.KMA has asked me to do another book, but I'm not sure I'm up to it yet.Since my book came out in July 1999, Creating Keepsakes and Hot Off The Press have come out with their own Heritage Idea books. So it's all old hat now. However, I wanted to tell you about a company that I found at The Great American Scrapbook Convention in Arlington, TX that I was part of this past July.
Riley Mountain Products, Inc. of 10 Water Street, PO Box 550 Antrim, NH 03440-0550Tel: 603-588-7234 Fax:603-588-3334E-Mail:firstname.lastname@example.orgThey have a product called Mastermount. It's a wonderful self-adhesive, repositionable sheet or roll format tape. It's absolutely beautiful. They also have corner mounts, all with that Victorian or old-fashioned flair that we are looking for for our Heritage Albums. It's a little pricey, abt $20.00 a box, but it goes such a long, long way (2mm bands up to 315 feet!)And when you press the strip down with the back of a spoon, it burnishes it to the paper and makes it look as if it has been embossed into the paper.Send for the catalog at least and take a look at it, I think you'll be interested in it.And it's so easy to use.
There was another company called Clear Stamp that had beautiful clear stamps of various Victorian designs. They were absolutely beautiful.ClearStamp 3956 Town Center Blvd. Suite #127 Orlando, FL32837Fax:1-800-889-2513 E-Mail:email@example.comWeb Site:www.clearstamp.comYou'll want to see their catalog also if you're interested in some beautiful heritage stamps and designs.
Anyway, I thank you once again for your E-Mail.I wish you the choicest of blessings and happy scrapbooking in the days ahead!
