Hi Vinita,
Thanks for your post.Actually, Gary O'Neal is my 1st cousin (his father and my mother were siblings), and I have a copy of his book, which I agree is quite well-researched and well-written.
I am looking for any documentation that Gary was unable to find regarding the two sisters (Elizabeth and Eleanor) who married the two Capers brothers.Knowing how thorough Gary is, there may be no other information at all.The problem is that the DAR lists William Capers as having married Elizabeth Eleanor Capers.Considering that the two Lenoir sisters' mothers' given name was Eleanor, it is possible that one sister was named Eleanor (who married James Capers on 11 Jul 1813) and the other was named Eliabeth Eleanor (who married William Capers on 2 Jul 1805).
Like I said, since Gary himself was unable to find any additional information on these Lenior sisters, other than the information that was contained in his book, the information I am looking for many not exist anymore. If it does, a likely place would be a Lenior Family Bible that lists the Lenoir children and their birthdates, but if there was such a bible, it may no longer exist.
Your cousin (obviously),
Amy Holmes (Weinstein)
