Our local archives happened to have a copy of the 1860 York census. I looked through it yesterday. The John Capps was listed with wife, Eliza and son Stacy. I came across those names last year. If my memory is correct John died but there was more on Stacy, but I can't remember where I found it. I couldn't connect them to my line. Did I tell you one James Capps was in Steele Creek and the other in Paw Creek, both townships of Mecklenburg. I've been puzzling over the inconsistencies with Zachariah's age; married in 1790, age 16-26 on 1810 census, 72 on the 1850 census. What should I make of it? I was wondering if the Z in 1810 and 1850 was the son of the Zachariah md in 1790 by a first wife. Howard
