Carlos' from Ireland -> Facebook Carlos
For Carlos' living in County Roscommon, Ireland, I started a Fuzbuk page just for us:

Many people starting out research on their Carlos' hear nearly the same story, that their Carlos' are Spanish somehow. Since 1900, families have tried to make sense of a Spanish-sounding name. It actually is pure coincidence that it sounds Spanish. Having a Spain-connection is actually possible, but not the era of the Spanish Armada--in fact, 1,500 years before. A lot of Carlos' are dark complected/olive skin and very dark brown or black hair. Knowing some history of County Roscommon, this dark face/dark skin is a characteristic that has come down through time as the Firbolgs. Firbolgs have a place in Irish mythology. They had dark hair and faces. They were peasants and married into the next wave of migrants entering Ireland, living in hovels in the hills and dells of County Roscommon. Firbolgs were said to have come from Belgium area.
I think someone will have to hire a skilled researcher to gather info needed to find out who Carlos' tribe was. Are they really Firbolgs? Anybody rich enough to hire a genealogist who intimately knows County Roscommon like the back of his hand?
Anyway, meet me at my Fuzbuk page.
