Marvin,
I was suspicious of the both the first names because they were on the death certificate of George, not a primary source (info given by dtr), but it was a 'lead'.
I think George was born c. 1853/4.The age @ death was 80 yrs., although the 1880 census states age 28 (c. 1852).But if it is him living with grandparents (Thomas & Jane) on the 1860 census, his age is 6 yrs.(It can't be their son, Jane was 60 ~ but it doesn't list relationships on this census).
But, where are his parents, George & Adelia? If they married in 1848, & George Jr. was born 1854, their date of birth had to be c. 1830ish ???Did one of them die ???
This family is very elusvie ~ can't find George (b: 1853/4) on 1900, 1910, 1920, or 1930 census'.The same with some of his kids!
Question ~ do you have any 'proof' that the George, who married Josephine, was the son of George & Adelia?
Also, you said you have a marriage record for George & Adelia, do you have something for George & Josephine?
Let me know when you get your program program up & running ~ I'm curious to know what other info you might have.
Lastly, is there any info you want from me regarding George & Josephine and/or their descendants?
Appreciate your help, thanks!
Carol
