The information about the children of Rebecca Carrier and Benjamin Raynor came from Bob Raynor's website: TheRaynorFamily@groups.msn.com
Hewlett Raynor has property in Roosevelt, LI in1878. He is buried in Greenfield Cemetery. The land belonging to his sister has the names listed in the 1867 will.
I'm having a hard time finding any information on the south shore Long Island residents born in the early 1800s. In 1922, Freeport decided to move the bodies that were there to Greenfield Cemetery. For many of those people all you can get is a 1922 burial date.
I'm hoping Hofsta's Long Island Studies Institute, local south shore churches and people with family bibles start putting information on line.
