Maternal Granmother was Mary-Anne Connors O'Shea of County Clare (probably) who married David O'Shea and had nine children.She made several crossings during the famine to bring family to the states and settled in Washington, D.C. Frank, Mary and David's child, was a decorated "Rough-Rider" with Teddy Roosevelt at the Battle of San Jaun Hill.
Paternal Grandmother was ----- Neville Carroll she went from Chertsey, Quebec and with her husband Edward Carroll a land grant farm outside York, Nebraska.With her son Edward aged 18, she moved to Arlington, Vermont and raised her dhildren there.
Edward met Anna Theresa O'Shea while working at the Govenor's Mansion in N. Benningon, VT and were married in June of 1904.Edward was the coachmen and Anna was Dresmaker, Seamstress and 2nd Cook at the mansion.
Edward and Anna Had Four children, Helen Mary Agnes Carroll '05, Edward Thomas '07, Margaret Mary '10, Joseph Francis '19.Joseph and Edward survive; Joseph in VT and Edward (Bud) in CA.
