I wish I knew what the relationship was!The following is what I have on the Carrols: Here is a listing of all the Carrol's (Carroll, Carrell etc.) in the 1790 Census of Duplin, Sampson and Bladen Counties taken directly from the digital microfilm.I went through all three counties page by page.
P.117Sampson Co.Demcy Carrol 1-0-0-0-0 one house between Stephen Carrol1-1-4-0-0 thirteen houses between Alexander Carrol1-2-3-0-0 five houses between Jesse Carrol 3-4-4-0-0(probably older) P.120John Carrol Senr 2-3-5-0-0 ( again older) P.122Demcy Carrol2-0-3-0-0(older and probably the father of Demcy and Alexander as Demcy signed the marriage bond for Alexander) P.132Elizabeth Carrol 0-1-2-0-0 (widow of unknown Carrol) thirteen houses between Elisha Carrol 1-2-4-0-0
Duplin had only Hardy Carrol whose data I gave previously.
P.84Bladen Co.John Carrol 1-0-1-0-0( all three in a row) Thomas Carrol Senr2-2-4-0-0 (older) Thomas Carrol1-0-2-0-0
I have no clue yet who is related to who for sure. Have also discovered that Hardy was a private in the Revolution who signed up in 1782. Do you know if Mary Murrah was related to the Adam Murrah in the 1790 Census of Sampson County, NC?So you have any information on Adam?I have a few tidbits. My email is SDL1177@cs.com
