I am searching for information on Thomas Sanford CARROLL, b/1845-48 MS; died abt/1889 probably in Texas; father born/TN and mother b/OH per 1880 Navarro Co, TX census; his last child was born in Hubbard, Hill Co, TX abt 1883. Could he have been married abt 1870 to a Mollie?I have seen some SANFORD and CARROLL connections on the inet, wonder if this is part of his line. Thanks for reading, CW Carlile Texas
Thomas' wife, Arcadia Jane Barrett [m1/Carroll m2/Lindsey], was b/1855 MS, d/1937 in Groesbeck, TX and was supposed to be buried in Mt. Antioch Church Cemetery.I've seen listings for that cemetery and haven't been able to find her as yet.She was also known as A.J. Lindsey, Katie Jane Carroll, Arcady, etc.Arcadia was the dau of Arthur Barret and Albany [Albinas, Albinia] Blakely, Albany's mother is listed as Elizabeth Smith and Elizabeth's mother is listed as Elizabeth HANNAH.
Thomas and Arcadia's children were:[any info on them would be appreciated.]

*John Arthur M b/1880 Navarro Co, TX, [found a John A. Carroll in Garvin, OK 1910 census, could not find him in Texas. This is the same time as our John's Aunt, Fannie Lillian Barrett [m1/Thomas] moved to Garvin, OK to file for land based on 1/8th MS Choctaw heritage, possibly from the HANNAH family and was apparently rejected. This John A. was in McLennan Co, TX by 1920. sure hope he's our John Arthur since I've managed to track him down.]
*Maude Carroll [m1/Ponder] b/1883 Hubbard, Hill Co, TX; d/1970 Jefferson Co, TX, bur/Magnolia Cemetery Beaumont, TX.
