The July 2007 issue of ANTIQUES magazine on page 114 displays separate portraits of Charles Carroll, Barrister (1723-1783) and of Margaret Tilghman Carroll (1742-1817; Mrs. Charles Carroll, Barrister). The portraits are by Charles Willson Peale in 1770-1771.
These fine portraits should be made known to the Carroll family researchers. I am scanning them in case any of the descendants might like a copy, either by email or by postal mail. Someone in the family ought to have them--they are too good to be missed by the family. They may not have extensive genealogy value, but they certainly do have a whole lot of family, historic, and artistic value.

If they were portraits of Pease family members, I'd certainly want someone to do the same for me.
