I purchased the subject snapshot depicting a young couple and a middle-aged couple standing on a sidewalk in front of a stuccoed building. It is identified on the back:
"Les and Belle Boyabin and Clarence and Cleona Carroll in 1940 at Monterey Calif. This is the best picture of Les Boyalin we have that could be used for identification purposes. It was take shortly after Belle and Les left Forbestown"
Although I am unable to find the Boyabins on ancestry.com, Clarence and Cleona Carroll appear in Public Member Trees and both individuals are included in the Social Security Death Index. Clarence is listed in the 1920 Census data for Los Angeles (resided at 2623 Loosmore?), Los Angeles Co., CA; and the 1930 and 1940 Census data for Los Angeles (resided at 3302 Division Street), Los Angeles Co., CA.
