2.Joseph and F - 30-40 (in 1850 census Sarah is 38 years) in 1840 census in Beaver Twp, Pike county, OH.No male 11 years of age just 2 girls. 0-5 years.One of the girls is Othelier and the other must ba a girl who dies before the 1850 census.
3.Also, on same page 15 is a William Cochran age 30-40 living9families away.He has 2 Males age 5-10.And there is a John Cochran in Pike county for 1840.
4.Is it possible that Mary SWOPE and Sarah SCHOBE are related."CH" could very well be a "W" and "B" could certainly be a "P" depending on who is writing it.Again,I feel very, very strong that you need to see original writing on marriage license.Also, that SHARP and SCHOBEsound very much same depending on how you say it.
5.George could have born out of wedlock.At no time in 1840 - 1850 is there a Male child.I don't know about the 1830 census. They had to be in VA. So, Let's say for now that George born out of wedlock and the SarahSHARP that married Joseph Casebolt is the same as Sarah SCHOBE m. 27 Oct 1835.This means maybe she had to get married.Anna born Oct 16, 1835.
6.Reference to "black"In India, the English always refered to the dark skinned Indians as "Blacks".
