According to the info below, George was from Illinois, and it would appear that his parents were likely John Casner (born PA) and Cynthia Place (born IL). I'm not related to this family and have no further information about them.
According to the California Death Index, available at rootsweb.com, George Henry Casner as born 5 Aug 1876 in Illinois, mother's maiden name PLACE. Died 25 April 1956 in Los Angeles County, SSN# 557-32-6150.
