Alec 'Bee' Castle, 82, of Kyles Ford, TN, was born November 23, 1927, and departed this life March 26, 2010, at his residence.
He was deacon and member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church. Bee was song leader, and he sang with different groups in Hancock County.
He was preceded in death by his father, Simon Castle, and mother, Neshie Castle.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Jackie Castle, of Kyles Ford; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Frank Wallen, of Kyles Ford; grandchildren, Neshie, Davey, and Jamey Wallen; great-grandson, Brett Burdine; special niece, Lisa Ausband; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Robert Winstead; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kermit Castle, Phillip and Faye Castle, Paul and Faye Castle, and Billy and Carolyn Castle; several nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday, March 28, 2010, at Colboch-Price Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Monday, March 29, 2010, at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, with Rev. Donnie Shaw, Rev. Ralph Trent, and Rev. Mark Seal officiating.
Interment will follow in the Castle Family Cemetery in Eidson.
