I have also found inforamtion regarding some Cathcart's of Schroeppel Twp, Phoenix, NY Edward Cathcart was a Justice of the Peace sometime between 1789-1877.He also owned a store in Phoenix, NY(Phoenix, NY is just outside of Fulton, NY) ( Town of Schroeppel was detached from Town of Volney Apr 4, 1832) Peter Cathcart and Bertrand (Burt) Cathcart of the same area of Ny (Listed both in Granby and Schroeppel) Enlisted in Co E, 24th Regiment on 9/23/1861. Both men served three years each and their discharges are as follows: Peter Cathcart promoted to Sargeant discharged Sep 22, 1864 Burt Cathcart discharged April 6, 1863
