The Henry Washington Cauble that married Elizabeth Ingle was the son of Jacob Cauble who was born May 18, 1804 and died Aug 3, 1891.Jacob married Sally Lyerly on April 22, 1829 and they had 4 children.Henry was the 2nd child and the first son.Henry's mother died and Jacob remarried.His 2nd wife was Catherine Trexlor.They produced 10 more children together.She died May 19, 1903 and is buried at Gashes Creek Baptist Church in Asheville.No mention of where Jacob is buried, but Gashes Creek might be a good place to start.Jacob was born and married in Rowan County.

It's unclear to me when the clan headed west, but Henry died Jan 19, 1904 and is buried at Grace United Methodist in Leicester.Nancy died Oct 21, 1914 and is buried at Emma's Grove Cemetary in Buncombe county.Henry was a Private in Company F, 14th NC Infantry, CSA.
