No, I don't have anything new on Priscilla or any Cavinets, Cavonets, Cavinetts, Whatever. And I never could verify that Priscilla was connected to the Cavinets.I have this note on Priscilla:
Notes for PRISCILLA NOE: Notes from David L. Langenberg:Her will was proved 14 February 1797;it mentions sister Rachel Noe.They are possibley the illegitimate duaghters of Leah Noe, daughter of John Noe, of Charles County, Maryland. In November 1725 Leah Noe was presented the the Charles County Court "for having Two bastard Children at one birth."Leah Noe named Thomas Burch as the father of these bastard children.Thomas Burch was presented to the Court in March 1726 for "bastard begetting":"Thomas Birch of Charles County planter the tenth day of Jan. 1724 did at divers times and places as well before as after at Charles County aforesaid...a certain Leah Noe odious filthy sin of fornication ... did beget on the body of the said Lea two bastard children to the great displeasure of Almighty God."He was a son of Oliver Burch and his wife Barbara Scott; the elder Burch had received a grant of land in Charles County in 1695.Thomas Burch before 27 January 1768 in Charles County and left five legitimate children, including Mary Burch, who married John Noe before 1768.(See Marilu Burch Smallwood, Birth, Burch Family in Great Britain and America, v. 1 [Adel Georgia:Patten Publishers, 1957] pp. 157-161.)
Not sure where the Cavinet came from - it was carelessly imported.
