I have a clipping from a Detroit newspaper Feb 21 ???? (A. P.) It reads: Edward P. Chalfant, aged 73, who built one of the earliest automobiles, the "Orion Buckboard," dies suddenly here Friday. He formerly was sales manager for Packard Motor Car Co, and president of the old Thomas Motor Co., Buffalo NY. In 1925 he helped found the National Standard Parts Association and served 16 years as executive vice president.
Does anyone have information on this line of Chalfants? Guylene (Chalfont) Schubert
