In 1903, John Denison Champlin donated the typescript "Champlin Memorial" to the Newport (Rhode Island) Historical Society Library. The work covers the first five generations of the Champlin family in America. There are very few copies of this work publically available. It is a fragile, typewritten and bound book. According to the librarian at the Historical Society, the work has not been microfilmed by the Mormon Church. I have transcribed the entire Memorial and am making it available in PDF format. This transcript of the Memorial replicates the original to the highest degree possible. My intent is to make the work available to as many researchers as possible.

The entire document is 180 pages long. Using a dial-up connection may take a little while when downloading, so be patient.
