I have links to Charnocks in the West Derby area to Maghull.

Following Tina's link, I do have a Mark Charnock in my tree who was born in 1892 and married a Mary Ellen Dodd in 1915.I have no further info on children but Mark had siblings:

Elizabeth Ellen
Margaret
Grace
Albert
Frederick
