I have a carbon copy of a pedigree done by Thomas Teackle Upshur, Genealogist from Nassawadox, Northampton, VA for Mrs. Barton Haxall Wise of Richmond, VA. It is on the Savage line through 1898. In it he mentions 'The Savage Mss Record compiled from family Bibles, Court Records and Tombstones' by William Lyttleton Savage in 1835, which at that time was in the possession of Charles Chauncey Savage of Philadelphia. I would like to have a copy of that record and also of the original pedigree that Mr. Upshur did for Mrs. Wise.I would like to compare my copy with the original.
I am a direct descendent of Thomas Savage and in need of proof on continuity from Dr. William Savage (son of John SavageV and Margaret Waters) and his wife Hester Dennis, through his daughter, Esther Lane Dennis Savage and her husband, David Porter Hogue (Atty General of Florida 1848-1853). Hope you can help me out on this.

Sincerely,

Henrietta McClellan
