Jennie,
I am hoping you might be able to help me... In the 1881 census, Harlan Chesley is listed as living with my great-great grandparents - Herbert and Amie Daniels - and their daughter (my great grandmother) Edith Daniels.I am pretty sure this Harlan is the same one you mention in the sibling group as he is listed as 12 years old in 1881 and your dates indicate his borth was in 1869.
I was just wondering if you saw any blood relation between the Chesleys and the Daniels?I was suspecting that he might be Amie's younger brother, though that certainly doesn't seem to be the case now.
Also I have seen the same "Saunders" mentioned on this Chesley board and I know my great-grandmother Edith had a cousin named Maude Saunders, though I have no idea how exactly they were related.
Any information or hints you can provide to help me are most appreciated!
Kindly,
Kristina
