While searching the SAMPUBCO wills index for Seneca Co., NY, I found two entries for two men named "Amherst CHILD(S)."One is in Seneca Co. wills book "A3," p. 123 -- this Amherst CHILDS lived in Junius TWP. The second entry is in Seneca Co., wills book "I," p. 169 -- this Amherst CHILD(S) lived in Waterloo and d. abt. 1890.He was a physician and probably the son of the first Amherst CHILDS of Junius.
I'm particularly interested in the first entry because my g-g-grandfather, John H. CHILDS, was b. in Junius TWP, NY, 1811.I would very much like to know if there is a relationship between the first Amherst CHILDS and my g-g-grandfather.
