Many thanks for the thought. My tree was researched by a Ms Lakin or Dakin in IOW some years ago and therefore, the Records Office may well have the tree anyway.
My IOW connection is from Isaac Chiverton Baptised 29.5.1803 at Whitwell, who married a Sarah Bennett in Bermondsey on 13.11.1836 and was living in 1861.
The line tracks back through his father James bapt 25.5.1760 in Godshill then through his father William bapt 23.12.1718 at Yaversland.
Then back through his father William bapt 22.11.1683 at Yaversland.
We now enter an interesting series of conclusions through his father Richard of Grove bapt 1644 at Brading. Through his father Richard bapt 13.6.1619 also at Brading.
His father was yet another Richard bapt 24.10 1583 at Freshwater and finally the end of the tree is with his father John bapt before 1567 at Freshwater, married Gillian c 1584 and died 31.9.1595 at Freshwater.
There are siblings recorded but I give you this morass of links so that if the Record Office does not have this tree, I will be most willing to share it.
I can be contacted on firstname.lastname@example.org and will forward address if required. As you see, I am in South Australia, but retain English birthright, still supporting West Ham FC.
