Greetings Rita, I saw your posting and had to respond. You are my blood relative, you are my first cousin. Willie Choice (Will) was my Grandmother and Great-Uncle Sonny's father. Uncle Sonny is still alive in Houston, he is between 84 or 87 yrs old. My Grandmother, his sister Bettie Lorene Choice Stone died a year ago in Houston,TX.
Tullie or (Tull as he was called by family) was my Great-Grandfather's brother. If you would look at the Smith County, TX black cemeteries, you would find an awful loot of our relatives buried there.
Another bit of information that you may find interesting is: My Grandmothers Mother and Father name was Jim and Nellie Twine or Twyne from Smith County, TX, they lived in Henderson, TX.
My new email address is: firstname.lastname@example.org
The Choice's all came from the Greenville, Spartenburg, South Carolina area. They later moved to North Georgia, around the vacinity of Atlanta, near Lovejoy. Then they ventured to East Texas where they remained.
I hope this helps, thanks for the other info, I will try to locate where they are buried in Smith County.
