Bobby, Identifying some of the member of this family with certainty has been difficult to impossible.I would assume he is of the same line I am as he appears to have had some connect to the Christenberry family in Lawrence Co., AL were my family was. My best guess is that Franklin Guss was his father. I'm listing below what information I have on James Monroe that I have adequate documentation to be comfortable in share it.I believe his great grandparents are thesame as mine - Thomas G. & China (GREEN) Christenberry. I would be interested in receiving any additional information you may have on James Monroe and working with you (and others I'm presently working with) to gain better documentation on this family. Are you a descendant of Luther or Eva?Do your have any information on them?
