My ancestor, Samuel McCall, was born abt 1800 in TN and moved to Limestone Co., AL, with his family in the fall of 1814.He stayed there with his ailing father until after he passed away in 1834.He was the only Samuel McCall that is recorded to have been in Limestone County in 1824 when Catherine was born.Is this your Samuel McCall?Sam had one daughter less than 5 (Martha) and one daughter 5-10 on the 1830 census.Does anyone know when Phoebe Walker died?I don't know if my Samuel McCall is your Samuel McCall but there is now some circumstantial evidence to support the conclusion that they may have been one and the same person.Thin, but it's there now.
