There is more I have on the descendants of John Patton and Elizabeth Clingan.John Patton was the brother to Elizabeth Patton who married Elizabeth Clingan's brother Edward Clingan and that is my direct line.John Patton and Elizabeth Patton were the children of John Patton and Mary McCracken.Elizabeth Clingan and Edward Clingan were the children of George Clingan who died in 1768 in York Pennsylvania.Elizabeth's mother was Margaret Kirkpatrick. We believe it is possible that Edward could have had a different mother. It is possible that George Clingan was married prior to his marriage to Elizabeth Kirkpatrick.I can send all of this directly to you if you would contact me at the above address. I also have a connection to the Broyles family but it some generations back from your Susan Broyles. Hope to hear from you. Sue
