Thank you Barabra & YES, I would like more info. on Sally as far back as you have (and more as you will see below).
I did not know Sally was married to my great grandfather (Asbury Samuel Clonts) until I received the soc. sec. form my grandfather (Samuel Luther Clonts) filled out on Dec 1, 1936.
Also, my mother (Charlotte Jane Wilhoite, b. Oct 6, 1926) was the daughter of Alexander McMillan Wilhoite (b. 4/26/1904, d. 10/26/1963) and Fay Ellenore Ross (b. July 8, 1908, d. Mar 7, 1999). Alexander & Fay were married May 23, 1925 in Chattanooga TN, Hamilton Co. Alaxender McMillan was the son of Isaac Wilson Wilhoite (b. 1864) and Sally Jane Watkins (b. 1869) That is all I have so far on the Wilhoite side so I welcome anything you may have there.
Now, as for the Clonts side: Samuel Luther Clonts (Luther is his real name) was my grandfather (who I knew & loved dearly). He was born Jan 4 (not the 1st), 1902 and died in Sep 1974. He is buried in Myrtle Hills Cem in Hillsboro county FL next to his second wife Sara Davis (d. July 1, 1990). He was first married to Lille Mae Richmond Dec 24, 1922. Lillie Mae was born Sep 28, 1908 in Catoosa County, Ringgold GA. She is also Irvin Richmond's sister so there are a lot of double cousins. She is still alive and well & living in Chattanooga with her daughter Louise. Louise and Winfred LeRoy Clonts were their only children . Winfred LeRoy Clonts was my father (I am jr. and go by Larry). He was born Nov. 17, 1923 in McDonald TN (Hamilton co) and died July 3, 1962 in Bradenton FL, Manatee co. He is buried in Chatt. National cem.
I have more if you want and would appreciate any additional info.
