I have used research from Dorcas Cluck, Merritt and James Graves, have their books, and have, along with Dorcas Cluck tracked the Clucks on Tribalpages.com.Your thoughts on our work are appreciated.
I am at a point where I have tracked my g-g-g-grandfather John Cluck back to Wilson County Tennessee.I am trying to find the links to John Cluck, born in Tennessee, buried in Hamilton County Illinois. His son George W. Cluck, Sr a son born in Tennessee and his wife Mary (McDaniel)Cluck were living in Hamilton County in the 1860 census with William 3, John L 6/12, and John Cluck 57, his dad and Mary McDaniel 69, born in S.C.,mother of Mary (McDaniel) Cluck
The 1820 Wilson County Tennessee Census has a John Cluck living with 2 males under 5, 2 males 5-10, 1 male 30-40.1female 5-10 and 1 female 30-40.This census shows a Pascal Hunt living in close proximity to John Cluck. The Hunts are big in Hamilton County and I have tracked some of the Hunts married to Clucks. So I am thinking this John Cluck could have come with the Pascal Hunts to Hamilton County Illinois.
The 1870 Hamilton County census shows George Cluck, Sr. 30, living with Mary 30, with William 14, John 12, George 6, and Wash ( short for Washington?) 3.
Any help you can give would be much appreciated, and I ask that when looking at the Cluck's on Tribalpages.com your critical feedback is appreciated
