Re: Coady/Torbay Newfoundland

My grandfather Thomas (Pop) was born in Torbay NFLD. His eldest William, still lives there. Uncle Willy is over 80 and used to own Coady Metalworks (which Pop started)in St John's. Now run by his sons. Most of Pop's children stayed in Newfoundland (St John's) although Marie is in Virginia, Phyllis (Doug MacDonald) and Madeline (Harold Hirst) moved to Vancouver as did my dad, Gerald. Dad passed away May 2000. I have 2 brothers Tim (Arlana Sheardown and wee Elizabeth 2yrs) and Mike (Brenda Charest). My wife Jan (Hewitt) and I have three kids - Cheston Thomas (10), Hayden James (8), and Devon Zelda (4).
