Thanks, as always, a few blanks got filled by the data and dates and linkage.
I have two questions regarding your message.
1) RE: #10: Alvin Cobb b.1809, d.Sep 27,1839; his mother (as given) was likely born abt 1750-1755(?) since married abt 1773. Given gap with prior birth, is this correct in your record? Reuben #9 was b. in 1795 then the next birth is 1809, with mother 54 yrs. or more? Is date 1800 or earlier?
2) RE: "Timothy Cobb had a son, Rev. Rueben Hobart Cobb b.Aug.5,1830, d.Jan.25,1884,(Prob.Taunton,Ma.) m. Nancy Maria Allen and had 5 children."
Note that in birth records of children, birthplace of Rueben H. Cobb is given as New Hampshire and as Vermont, separately, but census has birth in NH, so the connection fits. I had this link as questionable before.
Burial is in Taunton, MA (stone shared with Wyatt, son-in-law by his daughter Myra F. Cobb). [Wyatt's childrens' births has name as Waitt (Willis H. Waitt) and marriage intention has Willis H. Waitt but gravestone has name as Wyatt]
I have four children & their four spouses (3 named) by first wife Nancy Maria Allen and 1 child by his second wife Susan C. Elmes (her second husband), although she was at upper age for childbirth and child died as infant.
BTW, I didn't receive a reply to message sent separately about issue of Abigail (Hinds) Cobb's second marriage. If you need it sent again or further details, let me know.
Thanks, Paul Cobb, File Manager, Barnstable and Boston lines (C&C)
