Found this online. It might help someone. She was the daughter of Thomas Walters Cockriel and his first wife Helen (he married a 2nd time late in life in 1973 to a widow Ella (Baber) Cockriel. She is buried in Cockriel Cemetery, Platte Co. MO. I do not know at this time where Thomas Walters Cockriel, son of James Alan Cockriel and wife Allie Walters was buried.
Mary Swetnam Mary Ann (Cockriel) Swetnam died Friday, April 18, 2008, in South Sioux City, Neb. Mrs. Swetnam was born in Smithville, Mo., and was employed as an executive secretary at Lynn Insurance Company in Kansas City when she met her husband of 41 years, Nathan Dean Swetnam. In addition to her parents, Tom and Helen Cockriel, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Dean Swetnam. Survivors include two sons, Richard Dean Swetnam, Waterbury, Neb., and John Lawrence Swetnam, Kansas City, Mo.; and five grandchildren. Funeral services were set for 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home in Kansas City; burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation was scheduled for the hour before the services.
