James COCKSEDGE married JANE HARVERSON in 1842.He is a son of John COCKSEDGE and Sarah Maria ROBINSON.His 1851 census record matches the address shown in the following rough translation of his will:
In the Name of God. Amen.This is the last will and testament of James Cocksedge of No. 30 Church St. Bethnal Green in the County of Middlesex pawnbroker after payment of all my just debts and demands I give devise and bequeath to Jane Cocksedge my dear wife the whole of my Real and Personal Estate of whatever I may be possessed ofand also the share of money Jane entitled to wish the will of the late Jonathan Robinson my mothers father from which amount she nowreceives interest as the money being invested in the public funds and I hereby appoint my dear wife as sole Executrix of my will as witness my hand this eighth day of May 1852. James Cocksedge Signed and acknowledged by the said Jane Cocksedge the testator as and for this last will and testament in the presence of us being present at the time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of ? ? have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
