So, you are searching for a George CODE b.c. 1900. I'm afraid my records are from the time the CODD family emigrated (around 1820) and became CODE or COAD about 1850.
Later records- late 1800s to 1900s have been researched by others. Keep looking!
If the surname is really CODE, however, all CODEs I have EVER seen originally came from a single IRISH CODD family - who arrived starting about 1820.
While the name GEORGE CODE was prominent in my family (GEORGE CODE b. 1800 from Aghold Parish, Wicklow, -located at Trowbridge GEORGE CODE b. 1796-7 from Aghold Parish Wicklow, located at Beckwith Twp. Lanark County GEORGE CODD (later COAD) b.c. 1783 (m. MARY BLACKBURN of Aghold Parish Wicklow), located at Kitley Twp., Leeds County - probably all first cousins or nephews/uncles, I have no records which include the surname GILDING or GRAHAM.
I'd like to be of help. Why not publish the entire marriage article from 1919 and we'll see if other names ring a bell?
