I know where the grave is. I have been helping a friend with his family tree and we knew at that time he was related to a John T. Coffe that came to Texas from TN. We had no idea that it is was Georgetown Texas he had emmigrated to at the time. We went for a walk through the Georgetown cemetary one day, not looking for anything thing particular since niether one of us is originally from here. I turned around at one place and saw a plot with a wrought iron fence around. It was pure luck that we ran accross it since we had no idea his Coffe ancestors settled here. I would be happy to go and get pictures for you of the stones if you like.
Here is how my friend is connected to that Coffee family: Joshua M. Coffe married Jane (Jenny) Trousdale Their children: William, Nancy S., Lucinda M., John Trousdale, James Ernest, Thomas Stocks, Mary Jane, Franklin B., Brown S. and Francis Mcallister.
John Trousdale (John T.) was born Dec. 14, (1818?) in Smith Co., TN, died May 23, 1890 in Georgetown, TX. He was married three times: Eliza Stone, Catharine G. Hunt, and Lavenia Harriet Weir
Nancy, the second child of Joshua and Jenny and sister of John T. is who my friend is directly descended from. Nancy Coffee married Charles T. New on Dec. 20, 1828. Their children; Francis, William Rufus, John, Charlee, Frances Jane, Tennie Medorah, Charlee Brown andBrown T.
Frances Jane married S.B. Frank on June 21, 1866. Their children: Willy, Hettie, Maude, Charles Turner and Hamilton.
Hettie married Albert Israel. Their children: Roy, May, Mildred, Maude Brown and John Wesley. Mildred maried Joseph Young. Joseoh and Mildred Young were my friend's grandparents.
