I just found a reference to Mary Coggeshall marrying Ebenezer Northrup (assume it is Northup from RI) in "The Coggeshalls of America" by C.E. Goodspeed. She was the daughter of Capt. Joseph and Elizabeth (Phillips) Coggeshall. My 3rd great grandfather was Ebenezer Northup of North Kingston, RI, and he was said to have married a woman named Mary.Their first two children were named Eliza P. (possibly Phillips) and Joseph C. (possibley Coggeshall?). This seems a little too coincidental to NOT be the wife of my Ebenezer, as both families resided at North Kingston. The only disparity is that she was born in 1765 and Ebenezer in 1774, so a little unusual for the male to be younger back then.I would certainly appreciate any information.
