It would depend on which of many Jeremiah's you are looking for. I have been chasing down a Jeremiah who was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Winchester, Scott County, Illinois. I find him in the 1860 census living with a Judy Driskill (Driscoll) and Thomas "Coakly". Both Thomas and Jeremiah "Jerry" were born in Pennsylvania and their parents were from Ireland. This Jeremiah "Jerry Coakly" was 21 years of age in 1860 census. He was listed as Jerry Coakley age 29 in the 1870 census for Scott County. He shows up as Jeramiah Coakley age 39 in 1880 Scott county, however has his place of birth as Ohio. My Thomas had moved to Nebraska and had also noted his place of birth as Ohio in 1880, but they both went back to listing Pennsylvania in later census. In 1900, "Jeremiah Cokely" was in a soldiers home in Adams County, Illinois with the birth date of Aug 1839.
I have been following Jeremiah in hopes that he will somehow bring me to the data on Thomas D (Daniel ?) as I suspect that this Jeremiah and Thomas were brothers. Thomas always listed his parents as Thomas D cokeley and Julia Driscoll.
