Carl, I find your note jam packed with information.Emmanuel (Kolckglasser)Colclasure married to Catherine (Katherine Unk?) is the most unresearched early ancestor in Colclasure History.I believe this person became the famous Revolutionary War Soldier called David Colclazier who later removed to Kentucky.Dying in 1785 Beard's Town (Bardstown), Nelson County, KY. Widow,Catherine, or a daughter of David Emmanuel Colclazier, next married Henry Hoke? There is also mention of a Christian Colclazier married to Rebecca. If anyone has stumbled into pieces of this jig saw puzzle I would certainly like to hear about it.I had not previously heard mention of Elizabeth Colclazier married to James Smallwood also being David's daughter.Would like to nail that one down. The Colclazier Family claim Emannuel and jumped right to Philip Colclazier. There is a lot of history unfound or unclaimed in those early Colclazier's.Colclazier researchers lay claim to Elizabeth Colclazier married to James Smallwood as the fourth child of Philip Colclazier.A lot of Bath County Kentucky Colclaziers need some sorting out.My question would be how much sorting out have you accomplished.I encourage replies from everyone.Maybe even should take it to the Colclazier board. It is refreshing to find people using this board again.
