Trish, Concerning Jacob Colclasure b.20 Feb.1795 Ky. m. Mary/Polly Trinkle ca.1820's KY/IN. His parents were Abraham & Abigail Colclasure as you know. There is a family history in the Clay Co.Gen. library in Louisville,IL. It is very hard to read throughout, but I have some info. because three of Peter Anspach's daughters married three of Jacob Colclasure's sons. Early info mentions Hardin Co.,KY. Then they moved to Orange Co.,IN. Abraham & Abigail had 4 children listed: 1. John, 1791-1853, 2.Susan,1792-1854, 3. Jacob*,1795-1859, 4.Ellen, 1798-1841. Harley Bonham wrote this book. He says the 2 boys moved their families to Clay Co.,IL ca.1828 and Abraham & Abby soon followed. Jacob & Mary/Polly are both buried at Oak Mounds Cemetery in Clay Co.,it was originally part of their farm. They had 13 children! 1.Abby Colclasure m. Issac Jacobs, they had 11 children. 2.Betty m. Thomas Golden, had 5 children.,3. Abram Austin m. Lucretia Anspach, they had 3 children,But Austin had 5 children from previous m., 4. John m. unknown, 5. William m. Arabella Dean/Deem, had 11 children, 6. Richard m. Sara Prater, had 5 children, 5 & 6 were twins, 7.Mary Ellen m. Elias Golden, 8.Jacob m. America Ann Anspach, had 2 children, 9.Rachel m.Andrew Dennen,no choldren, then Jacob Spiker,had 6 children, 10.Jane m. John Spiker, had 4 children, 11. unnamed infant died, 12.Caroline m. Henry Trinkle, 1 child, 13.Steven m. Susan Anspach, had 6 children. Most names of children/wives do not have dates. I do know Abraham & Abby died in Clay Co.,IL. Will share what I have.
