My great great grandfather was George Colclough b. Oct 28, 1835 and he married Clara (maiden name unknown) b. July 21, 1839. They had 4 children - Emily G. Colcloough b. June 1, 1858 (my great grandmother), Edmund Colclough b. January 1, 1861, Herbert J. Colclough b. March 22, 1863 (founder of Colclough China & Vale Pottery, was also mayor of Stoke-on-Trent), George Colclough b. May 29, 1865.My great grandmother Emily Colclough m. William Bailey and they had 5 children - George Herbert William Bailey b. October 1, 1886, Emily Clara Bailey b. Septmber 30, 1888, Charles Bernard Bailey b. November 23, 1889 (my grandfather), Constance Anne Bailey b. August 4, 1891, Rose Bailey b. April 29, 1893. My grandfather Charles Bernard Bailey m. Sarah Walley and they had 2 children - Bernard Charles Bailey b. April 21, 1917 (my father) and Cynthia Bailey b. 1926. My great grandparents and their offspring with spouses and children came to Canada between 1920 & 1924. My father arrived here in 1924 at the age of 6. They settled in and around Montreal. My father Bernard Charles Bailey m. June Pauline Robson in 1938 and they had 9 children -- 6 natural and 3 adopted. I don't know if this is of any help to you but I am trying to find out if I have any relatives in Stoke-on-Trent/Longton. I believe Herbert J. Colclough had at least 2 sons, Herbert & Cyril.
