Debra, I just wanted you to know that I had looked at this -- but I'm afraid I probably won't be of much help.I have a large database of the Coldiron Family and will relate a couple of things that may be of interestto you.
You spoke of a Mary Coldiron who was a daughter of Jesse Coldiron and Lavina Blanton. This Mary is in our database with an approximate birth year of 1832 in Harlan County, KY.We have no further information on this Mary; no death records or marriage records. It is possible (I emphasize this is speculation) that this Mary may be the Polly Coldiron living in the Nathaniel Salor household in the 1910 Harlan County census.Polly's birth date in this census was July 1832.The Mary Coldiron, d/o Jesse and Lavina, had a sister Vercilla who married Nathaniel Saylor. So it's possible that Mary (with the common nickname Polly) was living with her sister's family at the 1910 census.
You also mentioned a Seals/Coldiron connection. Here's what I have (brief summary) on the families you mentioned:
Lauretta Helen Coldiron married Daniel T. Doan, and they had a daughter Allie Katherine Doan.Allie married Ralph Seals.I believe Allie Katherine Doan may be the Kathryn Seals you referred to.
Lauretta was the d/o James William Coldiron and Ava Elizabeth Edwards.James was the s/o Calvin L. Coldiron and Martha Howard.Calvin was the s/o William (Billie) Coldiron and Leah Lewis.William and the Jesse who married Lavina Blanton were brothers.William and Leah also had a daughter Mary, b. in 1845 Harlan County, but it is well documented that she married Calvin L. Howard.I do not believe that is the Mary you are searching for, but it is the Mary in Lauretta's direct ancestry chain.
I searched the database for other Mary Coldirons born about 1832 in Harlan County, and could not locate any. Also, the surname Willeford is not in our database.
Perhaps this is of no value, but I wanted to pass it along just in case it might be.
