I am interested in a possible connection between the Osborn and Congdon families...As Philander Osborn's grandson was named James Congdon Osborn.Galosha Bridge married two of Philander Osborn's daughters(one died early). The Osborn line that I have starts with William Osborn(1773-1869)b. Middlesex Co, NJ, married Margaret Tone(b. 1782-Middlesex NJ) son Philander b. 1828-S. Dansville, Steuben, NY, married Margaret Proudfoot(b.abt 1831 Scott, IA)Children: 1)Isabella, 2) Edward William(b. 1855-mar. Eva) 3) James Renwick(b. 1868 Davenport, IA. mar.
