CORNER - Manchester, UK 1810 to 1890
I am seaching for CORNER ancestors from the Manchester, UK and Denton, Lancashire, UK area beginning about 1810 to present day.
I have the Tinsley Family Bible, which contains records from about 1790 beginning in Ardifinnan, Ireland. This bible was passed from W. Thomas Tinsley (who built a church in Ardifinnan, Ireland in the late 1700's), to his eldest child Mary Tinsley, b. June 3 1788, to her nephew Charles Tinsley Corner, Christened Jan 14 1821 in Manchester, who m. Charlotte Craston June 26 1844 in Manchester. Charles Tinsley Corner died Feb 03 1865 in Manchester. He was a successful businessman who owned a printing business. This bible then was given to his son Charles Ashworth Corner of Manchester, b.May 03 1846, d. June 30 1897, who gave it to his son Harold Stanley Corner, b. July 01 1890 in Manchester, d. June 10 1939 In Vancouver, Canada, who gave it to his son Charles Corner, born and died in Vancouver this century, who gave it.... well, enough said, but I have the fragile 250 year old bible now, and have sore fingers from having typed in 9 generations of ancestors, aunts, uncles, etc.

Oct 17 1886 at Mere Cottage Mere, RSD, Christened in the Cathedral in Manchester, then emigrated to Canada with Harold just after 1900.

I would be glad to share information and files.
