The url mentioned in the above post is now:

"All male-line descendants of Jan Corszen, whether they have the surname Corson, Corsen, Corsa, DeCoursey, Corsaw, or Racer, should carry the same Y-chromosome genetic signature (or nearly so) as these two tested descendants."
You can see the Corsa participant's male-line lineage here: http://www.corsondna/lineages.htm#14http://www.corsondna/lineages.htm#14
You can view his Y-DNA test results (participant #14) here: http://www.corsondna/corsonresults.htmhttp://www.corsondna/corsonresults.htm
Additionally, through the efforts of Canadian genealogist Marian Elder, a descendant of Jan Corszen/Benjamin/Isaac/John with the surname Coursen was located and tested. His y-chromosome dna proved an exact match: Participant #19. Benjamin's son Isaac was a loyalist during the Revolution and he and his son John moved to New Brunswick in 1783.
The Corson DNA project exists now as a valuable source for male patrilineal descendants of Jan Corszen to confirm their research by seeing if they carry his genetic signature.
I would especially be interested if any male descendants of Richard Corsa, son of Mary Bussing would be tested. This would include descendants of Andrew Jackson Corsa and Stanley Corsa, and Leslie Corsa. It might shed some light on a Corsa Family mystery.
