I am currantly resurching the Cove family for the mid to late 1800's Wales. My Grandfather William Cove was married to a Louisa ? of Gloucester England. In my searches I have found the following entry in the Glamorgan census of 1881.I have no proof that they are related to your Ellen but the address area certainly matches and maybe you have the connection. If you have any other info please let me know:

I could be related to either of the two head of famillies but I'm pretty sure that it's William Cove (although it looks like they were brothers so maybe I'm related to both). My father was born in Trechorcy Wales (ystardyfodwg is Welsh for both Trechorcy and Treherbert) so I know I have a link with these names. Please feel free to Email me direct for more recent links.
