Hello Paula - it is not clear how much you already know about Heman and Amanda. The Cowles Family History addresses Heman extensively - but obviously not a lot regarding Amanda. You may have the following information already ???
Amanda was married to Heman in Poultney (Fairfield) VT in 1813, and produced six children in VT.A seventh was born in NY in 1834.They followed Hemans father to Ontario Co. NY in 1831, and farmed for 6 years. They moved further west to South Battle Creek MI in 1837 and continued to farm.
Amanda died in 1858, and Heman died in 1869, and are likely buried in MI.Amanda was likely born about 1792/3/4 in VT, and lived 66 years.
